Come see Mario Cassini's food demonstration at Harboufront Centre -- part of the On the Pulse weekend festival and Global Grilling food series hosted by Food Network's Kevin Brauch.
Mario will be grilling Picanha -- the popular Brazilian cut of beef.
Winterlicious Event: A Culinary Tour of Brazil
 Take a culinary tour of Brazil with a five-course menu inspired by the diverse influences of Brazilian cuisine, featuring dishes and ingredients from different regions of Brazil. A Caipirinha -- the traditional Brazilian cocktail -- prepared with Porto Morretes organic Cachaça (sugar cane spirit), is included.

This Summer Was A True Celebration Of Brazil
 The inaugural Expressions of Brazil festival at Harbourfront Centre took place on July 16, 17, 18.
The festival was co-produced by Cajú and featured 35 artists and attractions, including music, film, visual arts, food demos by Mario Cassini, workshops and dance. The festival attracted over 100,000 people over the 3 days - giving people a chance to see what Brazilian culture is all about.
 The 2nd annual Brazilian Day Canada took place at Yonge-Dundas Square on September 5 and 6 featuring Brazilian superstar Ivete Sangalo.
Cajú was there on both days serving the traditional Brazilian dish -- Feijoada -- to VIP ticket holders and sponsors and their guests.

Autumn Is Around The Corner -- It Must Be Film Festival Time
 Cajú is once again a hospitality partner of TIFF.
We're proud to host the gala event for the Brazilian film Rio Sex Comedy -- premiering at TIFF and starring Bill Pullman and Charlotte Rampling.
 The 4th annual BRAFFT (Brazilian Film Festival of Toronto) runs from September 23rd - 25th and opens with the film Lula.
WQW First Thursdays
 On the first Thursday of every month, arts organizations, boutiques, hotels and restaurants in the West Queen West area will stay open late and offer special programming, deals and events.
 Cajú will join the celebration with $5.00 Caipirinhas and the Brazilian-flavoured lounge grooves of DJ Jude Kelly – aka DJ Jubraz, including electro-bossa & samba, Bossa Nova, Brazilian jazz & funk classics.

OLA - Of Latin America took place at Cajú on October 26, 2009. The sold-out event took guests on a culinary tour to Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia and Venezuela, with 7 Latin chefs each preparing a course. Proceeds from the event went to YouthLink.

All monies raised will go to Fife House - providing supportive housing and support services to persons and families living with HIV/AIDS in Toronto. Treating yourself never tasted this good!
